Today, well since it's already 2 AM yesterday was a really good day for me, except the fact that I was 20 minutes late to my first class...
1. Really really lovely weather today.
2. Comm 131 was really fun and hilarious, that class is growing on me.
3. Didn't really have a lab to do today, but I stayed for a while to prepare for the next one.
4. Watched this weeks episode of Chuck and Modern Family
5. Also watched some basketball, it's good to have the NBA season back.
6. Got the basics of my speech done.
7. My mom made cinnamon rolls, and I was craving them yesterday!
8. A phone call from my dad, in the Philippines.
9. My hair was actually decent today.
This week, even though it started with rainy weather (that I'm still thankful for, because God is sovereign) was pretty good. I got to sorta hang with Rowena, see Joseph, Jimmy, Kim, and Gerlene, all at different days oh the first semester of last year kids, that I don't see anymore. &Van and Alan. And I got to sorta hang out with the cousins on Tuesday. College and Career bible study is changing things up, but not the bad change. The Lakers had a nice "dramatic" season opener win. I can just go on and on about this week. Another thing is that the week's not over yet! Praise God for blessing me with a wonderful week, even those the past two weeks have been rough I know that God is still there and aware (omnipresent and omniscient) not only for me, but for you who believe and have faith in Him. To God be the glory!

Random Blurb.
I like to connect things I learn at school, church, bible study, devotion to my everyday conversations.
So when you hear me talk about chemistry or calculus to you, I don't mean to sound like a know it all show off; it just helps me remember what I learned for class. However when you hear me talk about God and/or the Bible, it's not only for me, but it's also for you.

As long as you are glorified
The Bible says it straight up "do not be conformed to this world", and I try my best to follow God's word every time. This world that we live in is filled with sin, and it is so easy to get caught up in it. And that is where we have to constantly have to remind ourselves that our lives should be centered on God.
So I am sorry if I'm not doing what everyone else is doing, sorry if I'm not performing a song that the world wants to hear, sorry if I'm embarrassing the world; but I mean, if I know I am making the one and only Father happy then their feelings won't matter.
Paul did not care what the Jews thought of him. "For I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus." (Acts 21:13) He knew why the Jews did not like him, but it didn't matter, he was ready to go to prison and even die for God, because his life revolved around God. That's how we all should be as well.

A gift from lab.
In lab today, I was preparing a solution containing AgNO3. Almost every time we work with AgNO3, I end up with a stain.
Anyways, like the stain on my finger, every thing this world gives us will not last forever. Continuing our study on 1 Peter in College and Career bible study, we went over that we are not redeemed by perishable things like Gold and Silver (1 Peter 1:18). Get it? Get it, like my stain... Silver Nitrate... hey, I tried... But we are redeemed by the precious blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:19). Not saved by money, friends, school, social status, cars, video games, etc. But by the blood of Jesus Christ.
